BEE Scholarships to Host Happy Hour Comedy Event Headlined by Anthony A.

Comedy Show will also have School Supply Drive

Albuquerque, NM July 27, 2015: Prepare yourselves for an evening of laughter as Burqueños for Education and Empowerment (BEE) is excited to announce it will be hosting the first annual BEE Comedy Show on Friday, August 28th at the Moose Lodge in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Headlining the show is local comedian Anthony A. from KISS 97.3. The show will hosted by Anthony “Animal” Garcia who will be joined by talented comics Jamar Hall of New York, and Robert “Buck D” Gipson of Albuquerque, music will be provided by DJ VP.

“I am excited to partner with BEE and provide a great [show] of comedy relief that will go towards an even bigger cause,” says Anthony A.

This happy hour show will take place at place at the Moose Lodge, located at 2121 Edith Blvd. NE 87102. Doors will open at 5:30pm with the show beginning promptly at 6:30pm. Appetizers will be available for purchase. Attendees are also invited to stay after the show for cocktails and music provided by DJ VP.

Tickets will run $15 each, but BEE is offering a school supplies drive discount. With a school supply donation which will benefit K-12 students, an individual ticket cost will be reduced to $10 per person! This is an effort to provide local students with the school supplies they need to succeed this school year.

Tickets will be sold at the door and are on a first come, first served basis. Please arrive early to guarantee your seat. The Moose Lodge can hold up to 200 people.
