For the 5th consecutive year, BEE Scholarships will be hosting its annual bowling tournament. With nearly 50 participants in last years event, we hope you can join us for an exciting 5th year of bowling!

Tournament Registration fees are and include shoe rental:

-- Individuals can bowl for $30 (you can bowl solo or decide to join a team; we will place you)

- Team of two, registration will be $50

- Team of three, registration will be $70

- Teams of four can register for only $90

- All kids 15 and under bowl for just $15!

Bowlers that do not have enough for a team of four will be partnered with other bowlers to complete a team, unless otherwise noted. Prizes will be awarded to all members of the winning team. The top male, female, and kid bowler (that are not part of the winning team) will also walk away with a prize!

*** Please show up early. Registration opens at 1:00. Lanes will open for 15 minutes before 2:00, when the tournament will begin.

-Tournament will consist of four-person teams or individuals playing in a three-frame tournament
-Registration fees (including shoes) will be as follows:

• Individuals- $30
• team of two $50
• team of three $70
• teams of four $90 
• All kids 15 and under $15

-Registration to bowl in the tournament can be submitted with the form below or in person at the venue starting at 1pm
-The team and male and female individual bowlers finishing with the highest combined score will be declared the winner of the tournament
-Prizes will be awarded to the winning team and the top male and female performers

Due to popular demand, BEE Scholarships will once again partner with Kelly Jo Designs by Wine on January 30th from 6:30-8:30. This is one of the most popular events BEE hosts and spots for the event are limited and fill up fast.

For this event, the feature portrait will be Valentines Day themed and will be "Love Birds."

Burqueños for Education and Empowerment (BEE) is excited to announce that on Sunday October 2nd, we will be hosting a fundraiser with B2B (Bistronomy B2B: Burgers 2 Beers) as part of their Giving Back Sundays program, where a portion of sales are given to local non-profits. Members of BEE will be at B2B, located at 3118 Central Ave. SE, from noon until 9pm to greet and thank attendees for their support. This event will continue BEE’s efforts to raise money for scholarships for Albuquerque–area students.

BEE to Host Bowling Tournament May 16th at Lucky 66 Bowl

Proceeds will go to BEE Scholarship Fund Efforts

Who: Burqueños for Education and Empowerment (BEE Scholarships)

Where: Lucky 66 Bowl, located at 6132 4th Street NW 87107
When: Saturday, May 16th Tournament will be held between 1pm-3pm
Why: All proceeds will go to BEE’s efforts to provide scholarships for local students.
Details: Tournament will consist of a four-person team playing in a three-game tournament. The team finishing with the highest score will be declared the winner of the tournament. The entry fee will be $120 for each four-person team (fee includes shoes). Registration to play in the tournament can be completed in the form below. The tournament will commence Saturday May 16th at 1pm.

Chili's 'Give Back Event' Jan 19th for BEE Scholarships 

On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, January 19 Burqueños for Education and Empowerment invites you to Chili's Grill & Bar (Coors and I-40 location), in Albuquerque, New Mexico's Westside. The restaurant will be hosting a Chili's 'Give Back Event' which will benefit Burqueños for Education and Empowerment (BEE Scholarships).

Between 11am and 10pm, Chili's will donate 15% of the event day sales to our organization's effort to provide college scholarships to Albuquerque-area students. The flyer below must be shown to your server in order for the restaurant to make their donation. A hardcopy or a digital copy can be provided; this means you can have the flyer in paper form or simply show it from your phone. 

Donations include food and drinks!
